This position reports to
Service Team Leader
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform service work according to work instructions and in compliance
with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Every day, you will provide quality customer service by planning and executing
service work according to the customer's order and expectations. You will also demonstrate your expertise by ensuring
customer loyalty through effective communication about service work deadlines and expectations. The work model for this
position is: field service This position contributes to the Electrification, Smart Power the Morges region. The main
stakeholders are External customers. Your main responsibilities: • Installation, assembly, commissioning and acceptance
of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and battery installations, including customer instruction and training. •
Maintenance and repair of UPS systems and battery installations, as well as technical sales support and project
planning work. • Completion of administrative tasks such as technical reports, protocols and minutes. • Availability
for on-call duty. • Care and maintenance of measuring instruments, electrotechnical installations and tools.
Qualifications for the role
- You enjoy working with tools and methodologies relevant to the field of electrical engineering and the power
electronics market, particularly in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
- Experience in the field of electrical power engineering, ideally with experience in power electronics or UPS systems.
- You have a thorough knowledge of the use of software such as MS Office and a good command of IT tools.
- You are passionate about communication, autonomous work, responsibility and customer orientation, with a strong
ability to manage frequent travel and on-call duty.
- You have an electrical engineering background (electrician or electronics technician) and experience in a technical
environment is an asset.
- Fluent in French, with good knowledge of German and/or English an advantage.
- You hold a valid category B driving license and are willing to travel frequently, with availability for on-call duty.
