This appeals to you
- Evaluating, testing, implementing and deploying state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and adapting them to our
specific needs.
- Playing an active part in transforming cutting-edge research results into a successful product.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of engineers on system integration.
- Writing high-performance production-grade code in Python and C++.
- Working in a startup-like environment within a global company, benefiting from flat hierarchies and substantial
personal influence.
This is you
- MS/PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in fields like 3D computer vision, object detection & tracking, mapping and sensor
fusion.
- Experience interfacing with and performing real-time processing of data from RGB and RGBD cameras for robotic
applications.
- Familiarity with point cloud processing from depth cameras for 3D mapping.
- Up to date on the latest developments in computer vision with a strong theoretical understanding of the algorithms
used.
- Proficient in Python and C++, experience in using ROS, Linux, and Git.
- Experience with training, evaluating and deploying learning-based computer vision models.
- Ability to work independently and hands-on in rapid iterations and with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Motivated to experiment, be creative, and push boundaries to solve problems.
- Proficient in English
