This position reports to
Engineering Manager - Head of CoE Customer Support
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will support supply planning and resource management within the MOSD Operations Switzerland team.
You will assist in planning activities aimed at improving on-time delivery for customers and reducing lead times, while
closely following inventory and supply guidelines. Your contributions will help ensure smooth operations and contribute
to meeting customer expectations through effective support in resource and supply planning. You will be mainly
accountable for: • Contributing to the continuous quality improvement of our products while ensuring benchmarking
customer experience onsite and offsite. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive excellence in servicing
our products during commissioning and troubleshooting from remote. • Providing technical guidance for the resolution of
product issues happening during the installation/commissioning of the drives and throughout their entire lifetime as
well as providing technical training to ABB's global service network (abroad and locally). • Ensuring know-how transfer
between drives factory and global service network. • Willing to participate in 24/7 expert support as well as to travel
globally (up to 60%).
Qualifications for the role
- You hold a degree in Engineering (MSc/BSc or equivalent), providing a strong technical base for this role.
- You are highly interested in working with tools and methodologies relevant to the Medium Voltage Drives and
commissioning market.
- You have 1+ years of work experience in a related field.
- You are passionate about roles that require creative problem-solving, quality improvement, and a commitment to
delivering a positive customer experience.
- You are at ease communicating in English, and additional language skills are an advantage.
- You are motivated to learn and innovate within a structured yet dynamic environment, with flexibility to adapt to
diverse approaches for enhanced service solutions.
