We are looking for an Industry Development Manager (Chemical industry) to join our Group and make a meaningful impact
in the Chemical sector. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to support our local sales and marketing
organizations, driving our strategies and enhancing industry knowledge across our global network.
What is the role about?
Are you someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is passionate about the Chemical industry, and loves to
drive impactful marketing strategies? Do you enjoy engaging with diverse cultures and conducting market research to
deliver results? As a member of our Strategic Industry Group, you will work closely with the Global Industry Manager to
develop regional Industry Networks and drive strategy implementation. You’ll play a crucial role in promoting our
integrated offerings, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and preparing for industry launches.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Support our local sales and marketing organizations, sales representatives, and customers worldwide with your
specific marketing and industry know-how.
- Collaborate with the Global Industry Manager as part of the Strategic Industry Group to develop regional Industry
Networks and coach Local Industry Managers.
- Oversee industry training, coordinate global Chemical seminars, and execute global campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with functional safety standards within the chemical sector.
- Conduct continuous market research and implement targeted marketing actions.
- Develop essential marketing collateral to fulfil your responsibilities effectively.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Have a technical degree in a relevant field.
- Bring several years of experience in Chemical, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
- Have fluency in English.
- Possess proven experience in marketing or sales.
- Are open-minded and have a strong ability to work across diverse cultures.
- Are familiar with functional safety standards.
- Have the willingness and ability to travel internationally for approximately 8-10 weeks per year.
